Greetings! First, allow me to introduce myself my Name is HOV !....LOL, not really, it is Jay tho! 

I am a portrait and sports photographer living in the Tampa Bay area.  I love and shoot all types of photography.

I fell in love with the art and beauty of capturing life at its richest earlier than I can even remember.  My favorite images were the photos in Sports Illustrated and my Dad's "Players" magazines!   The in actions shots from college, NBA, and NFL games inspired me to play football and basketball, because I wanted to be in those pictures. I found the power, the pain, and the grace shown in these images to be soul-fulfilling.   And... the pictures in the Players magazines...well, GOD perfected his creative process when SHE created the Black Woman!

I am a fan and student of the GREAT Gordon Parks.  I have always considered him a hero and role model for his literary and photographic works.  Even though he is most known to the world as a great photojournalist, I have yet to immerse myself in the capture of social realism, but it's coming. 

I am very passionate about the art of photography and hope that some day you will come across one of my images and say " Daaaammmnnnnn, that shii is DOPE "
